Sunshine Yoga and Health retreats provide a more expanded view of yoga practices in a shared, safe and harmonious environment. The group connection at these retreats allow for support, sharing and caring. You experience inner healing and awareness of body, mind and soul. This is special time for nurturing and taking precious time out for yourself. You return home with re- newed energy and vitality, peace and calm.
This retreat facility borders on beautiful rainforest with an abundance of native birds and beautiful gardens where peace and calm prevail! There is an easy walk to the waterfall and the most breathtaking outlook across the valley and ranges.

The Program
Sunshine Yoga is offering an additional extended program due to the many clients requests for a longer program. In their words "we want to stay here forever"!! An alternative to "forever", we are now offering a 4 or 6 day program. Your options being a: 3 night or 5 night stay.
Option 1: 4-Day Program
Thursday afternoon/evening to Sunday noon
The yoga program commences after dinner on Thursday evening with "getting to know each other" and a meditation before bed. Lyn offers daily structured sessions of:
| • early sunrise energisation & tai chi warm-ups • a variety of yoga postures and movements • breathing techniques • guided relaxations and meditation • silence • forest walks • free time for resting or enjoying nature |
Option 2: 6-Day Program
Tuesday afternoon/evening to Sunday noon
The yoga program commences after dinner on Tuesday evening with "getting to know each other" and a meditation before bed. The focus of this 6 day program will be "the heart of yoga, movement and meditation". Learning to be gentle with oneself is the key to "getting in touch". You will enjoy connection with the gentle and soft side of yourself. If we don't give back to ourselves, life becomes a struggle. Thisspecial retreat allows you to release that struggle. You will love this program which is unique to Sunshine Yoga.

An Example Only of the 4-day program:
Day 1:
3.00pm to 6.00pm - Registration and Settling In with a Briefing of the weekend.
6.30pm - Dinner.
8.00pm - Meditation before bed then Silence until breakfast.
Day 2:
7:00am - Energisation exercises outside on grassed area
Breakfast
9.30am to 12.30pm - Releasing tension & tightness exercises, pranayama, meditation and relaxation.
Lunch & Free Time (massage available)
3.30pm - Partner Yoga, Yoga Nidra
Dinner
8.00pm - Meditation before bed
Day 3:
7:00am - Qi Gong exercises outside on grassed area.
Breakfast
9.30am to 12.30pm - A flowing Yoga Vinyasa, Pranayama, .
Lunch & Free Time (massage available)
4.00pm - Afternoon tea
4.30pm - Getting-into-the-Gap Meditation
5.30pm - Lyn's surprise - Something Different?
Dinner
Day 4:
7:00am - Tai Chi Warmup exercises outside on grassed area and a bush walk to the waterfall.
Breakfast
10.00am - Flowing movement, Yoga and Breathing.
12.00 to 1.00pm - Final Session with a 30 minute Guided Relaxation and Farewell Circle
A small group of up to 10 people from Tuesday to Thursday gives added nourishment and nurturing prior to the main group arriving on Thursday afternoon. If you are looking for extra quiet time, it is well worth your while to chose Option 2.

A Deposit of $100.00 (3 night) and $200.00 (5 night) is required at the time of booking with full payment 6 weeks prior to the retreat. Payments are non-refundable. However, if cancellation is received 1 month prior to the event, the payment (less a cancellation fee - 30% of total retreat value) will be held in credit for 12 months, to be used at a future Sunshine Yoga event. A replacement person will be accepted.

Accommodation
The retreat offers single accommodation with 2 double rooms available. It is ideally situated, nestled on top of the mountain in isolation. Facilities include:

Natural Therapies
Massage/Reiki is offered by fully trained and highly experienced practitioners. The cost: Reiki with Nerida $55 per hour session - Massage with Sue $75 per hour session. Please indicate your interest when booking.

Getting There
The Springbrook Theosophical Society Retreat Centre - Ph. 07 5533 5211 - is at 2186 Springbrook Road, Springbrook, Gold Coast Hinterlands - (UBD Map 66, Ref F16). It is approximately 1½ hours from Brisbane City, or 1 hour from the Gold Coast, Queensland Australia.
From the Gold Coast Highway, turnoff at Exit 79 and follow the signposts to Springbrook. At the top of the mountain there is a fork in the road. Travel a further 2.5kms and turn right into the retreat driveway. Follow the signs to the Retreat Centre car park. Car pooling can be arranged by Sunshine Yoga. Location Map
