Sunshine Yoga and Health is offering a special weekend retreat for a group of very tired and stressed mums to get away and rejuvenate. We  offer you a delightful weekend at the quaint little town of Halls Gap, 262 kms north/west of Melbourne. This picturesque town has a population of just 300 people. It sits at the bottom of the famous and amazing Grampians National Park, one of Victoria's most outstanding natural features.

The town is within easy reach of many natural attractions, including unique rock formations, scenic lookouts and waterfalls. It is popular with lovers of outdoor activities, from bushwalking and abseiling, to fishing, canoeing and wilderness adventures.

From the local village stores, the taste tempting wineries and the colourful galleries, to the majesty of the Grampians National Park that offers you its amazing wildflowers and waterfalls, Halls Gap is the heart of this region.

Sunshine Yoga retreats provide you with an expansive range of yoga and health practices. The group connection at these retreats allow for support, sharing and caring, inner healing, with awareness of body, mind, emotions and soul. It is your time to be nurtured..... it is precious time out for you. You will take home with you a sense of calm, peace and connection with your beautiful being.

The Program

Lyn offers daily structured sessions of:
 
 • early sunrise energisation, qigong & tai chi warm-ups  • a variety of yoga postures and routines  • breathing techniques  • qigong • guided relaxations and meditation  • partner work  • nature walks  • free time for resting or enjoying nature  • support and guidance

An Example Only of the program:

Day 1:
3.00pm - 6.00pm - Registration and Settling In with a Briefing of the weekend.
6.30pm - Dinner.
8.00pm - Meditation before bed. Silence until breakfast.

Day 2:
7:00am - Energisation exercises outside on grassed area
  Breakfast
9.30am to 12.30pm - A variety of yoga routines, breathing exercises, meditation and relaxation.
  Lunch & Free Time (massage available)
3.30pm - Partner Yoga, Chanting & Yoga Nidra
  Dinner
8.00pm - Meditation before bed

Day 3:
7:00am - Tai Chi Warmup exercises outside on grassed area and a walk in the Grampian National Park
  Breakfast
10.00am - Flowing movement, Qi gong, Yoga and Breathing.
12.00 to 1.00pm - Final Session with a 30 minute Guided Relaxation and Farewell Circle

The small group of up to 10 people enhances the enjoyment and nourishment received and experienced on this special retreat. Lyn loves to work individually with students where-ever possible - small retreats allow her to do this.


Accommodation

D'Altons Resort offers luxury self contained 1 & 2 bedroom rough sawn hardwood cottages. Ideally situated with the Grampians National Park shadowing the resort. Wildlife is abundant with kangaroos literally at your doorstep.

Rates & Specials

Small groups (a maximum of 15 people) enhance the enjoyment and nourishment received and experienced on this special retreat.

A $200.00 deposit is required at the time of booking with full payment 8 weeks prior to the retreat. Payments are non-refundable. However, if cancellation is received 1 month prior to the event, the payment (less a cancellation fee - 30% of total retreat value) will be held in credit for 12 months, to be used at a future Sunshine Yoga event. A replacement person will be accepted.

There may be available the services of a masseuse or reiki therapist. This will be confirmed closer to the event and is an extra cost..

     •  A yoga mat (rubber non-slip mat - thick 6.2 mm - available from Sunshine Yoga $38)
